5 paź 2024 · Once you have the latest stable release, you will be able to update the loader by going into "settings > update" menu. note that not all versions are seen by this menu. so don't worry if you see a new version on sourceforge but the loader tells you there's nothing to update.

Written guide: Basically you want to go to wii.guide and download the latest version of usb loader gx, drag it onto your wii and make sure your wbfs folder is set up correctly.
Don't upgrade to Wii Firmware 4.2 or 4.3! Instead of updating your Wii firmware, you can just use DOP-Mii to update specific channels such as the Nintendo Channel or Wii Shop Channel (which also requires an IOS61 update) without updating the Wii Sytem Menu.
But luckily, I personally had no issues with updating my Wii to version 4.3 and using wii.guide/letterbomb to reinstall all the homebrew! Now, instead of using the WODE, I can launch games (stored on the same USB drive that I had used for the WODE) via USB Loader GX or WiiFlow.
22 paź 2019 · If you already have a working USB-Loader GX there is no need to update the system for Wiimmfi. You just need to update the patcher you use to connect to Wiimmfi. So if you use the "private server" setting in USB-Loader GX, you just have to download the newest version of the USB-Loader.
