Homebrew apps aren't WADs, they are .DOL files, but sometimes when you install them they add a forwarder (the channel) to your system menu as part of the install. The forwarder itself is a WAD, and there is a Windows app you can get to make custom forwarders for any homebrew app or game iirc.
I installed the Wii System Menu on Dolphin using NUS Downloader. I also have RVZ files of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. In the system menu, how do I make it so that Wii Sports Resort is in the Disc Channel and Wii Sports is another channel?
1. Install Wii System Menu a. Either use the NAND dump from your wii and put it in the correct place b. Or Extract a wii system menu wad from the update partition of a game, or obtain system menu wad via nusd. with the sysmenu wad in the gamelist, right click on wad and select install to wii menu.
On Dolphin Emulator version 5.0-4588 or later, the Wii Menu can be easily installed through Dolphin itself. Once this is done, the Homebrew Channel can be installed, although not in the same manner as a physical Wii.
