27 maj 2024 · If you just move the folder without changing the name, then that should be fine. But if you change the name as well, that can be unsafe. We have a lot of threads like this and this about projects breaking after renaming the top-level folder and/or the main YYP file.
Go to your file explorer and go through users->yourname->documents->Gamemaker Studio 2-> (all of your projects should be in here for every game you've ever made) If on the off chance it isn't there, check your recycling bin.

19 cze 2017 · Restoring from temporary files. Little known fact: to display accurate code snippets in error messages and the debugger when the game is ran from IDE, GameMaker: Studio exports a special .yydebug file containing majority of the source code into a temporary directory.
Well my game decided that it wasn't having it anymore and completely disappeared. I can load the save, but there are no assets or anything. I can still go to the folder and see that all the assets are in the folder, but the save file wont load any of them up when I open the game.
