Very nice tutorial! I have an iPod Touch 4th gen too and it was pretty hard to find a working jailbreak. One thing I would like to say though is that I use iTunes to install IPAs. It is pretty easy. I prefer using versions 10 or 11 for legacy devices.
Sorry for replying to an old post - I am researching jailbreaking an iPod. I'm looking for a way to actually store music files onto it (like a USB flash drive) without needing to constantly sync with itunes and still be able to play them on the iPod. Is jailbreaking a good solution for this?
