10 kwi 2016 · Hi All, in the last couple of weeks Vuze has started playing up by slowing and freezing my laptop when I check the task manager I can see that a task "System Interrupts" has appeared and using over 20% of the CPU.

Did you enable any bandwidth limits in your torrent client? Setting your upload to something ridiculously low (e.g. 1 KB/s) will negatively affect your download speeds too. Are you using any blocklists? If so, stop using them (see rule #7)
The download rate was extremely slow (It was running for 20 hours and downloaded under 300Mb). I downloaded uTorrent to see if that would make a difference and it doesn't seem to have. I have just done an online speed test and it said my download rate is 11Mb/s and upload is 1mb/s.
29 sie 2010 · I've pretty much narrowed down the cause of my system freezing to VUZE. I've ruled out overheating, memory issues, malware & viruses. In fact, when I don't run Vuze for a few days, there are no lockups. I turn Vuze on and Bam! the system freezes after about an hour or so.
4 wrz 2023 · I noticed that when Vuze has automatic download of one of the plug ins it was around 2 MB/s. Why would that be so much higher? Thoughts? Edit: I'm getting a warning in Vuze that says listen server socket does not appear to be accepting inbound connections and TorGuard just told me to try opening Vuze listening port to a TorGuard server.
