Nearly every other major airline in Europe is still serving free snacks and meals on regional routes (even in Lufthansa A319 economy from Frankfurt to Zurich), and there’s no excuse why Iberia shouldn’t be doing it either. If they want to convey themselves as a low cost carrier, then fine.
I made a reddit account just to make a comment on this thread- just got off Iberia flight last night and will never fly again. First off, we were confused because the first leg of the flight were operated under Vueling (Zurich>Barcelona). 2nd leg of the flight (Barcelona>SFO) was operated under FlyLevel. Just difficult to navigate.
9 sty 2024 · Iberia advertised a connection from Madrid to Bilbao with a short layover after my the flight from Miami to Madrid. When I purchased the ticket on their website, the flight was not what I purchased but a later flight with a much longer layover, 6 hours.
Experience with Iberia? I’m looking into booking a trip to Spain this spring. After a lot of manual searching, I was able to find some flights I’m interested in on Iberia. They seem to have the best value for point redemption. However, their reviews are terrible.
Despite its turbulent past, Iberia flights is safe nowadays, and you shouldn't worry too much when flying with them. Nonetheless, Iberia air has had at least four severe accidents throughout its career in which many passengers and crew members tragically lost their lives.
The flight was full, and the crew were disinterested. We contacted Iberia customer service in DC, and they gave us a link to a website. We used the link which required our booking reference number, and after we entered it, it clearly showed we had paid for Premium Economy.
Updated August 2024. Iberia is the Spanish flag carrier. Funny enough, through all my years of travel I’ve never flown Iberia until just a few months ago when I flew them Malaga – Madrid – Mexico City (and back). So here’s my Iberia Airlines review: the good, the unusual and the bad.
