AmpliPi™ is a multi room/zone home audio controller and amplifier made for whole house audio systems with many zones. It can play up to 4 simultaneous audio sources, each of which can be selected from either its analog RCA input or any supported digital stream (Pandora, Spotify, AirPlay, etc).
The Soundavo system has 2 apps. One for the actual control of the system called WS66i and the one to control the two built in streamers called Soundavo Player. The system control app WS66i is janky garbage. On zones 1-6 (it's own zones) it's still hacky and and not super intuitive.
16 mar 2022 · This is a complete instructions for building a whole house audio system. There are other threads on this subject, such as this one . My issue is nothing I found on the internet provided complete instructions that resulted in the end product I desired.
The Great thing about Sonos, MusicCast, HEOS, BlueSound, & Alexa is the ability to use both Wireless & Wired Speakers making for a mixed system if you have rooms that do not already have speakers in them or would be difficult to run in. Sonos is a great product for whole home audio. Its biggest downfall is its price.
Enjoy the whole house audio system, play music, connect to home assistant, and make announcements, notifications, write a program that pulls headlines/breaking news from news sites; call amazon polly and play the tts audio, or even connect to online radio channels!
Whole House Audio Design. I've been scouring reddit and the internet for some current posts about whole home audio systems and what mid-tier whole home audio solutions are currently front runners for being the best choices. There just isn't very much good third party info.
1 lip 2021 · I’ve accomplished my goal with an Amazon Echo dot in every room and my main home theater system having an Echo input. I can tell Alexa to play what I want in the everywhere channel. Alexa handles the synchronization between it all and voila — I have whole home audio. It works remarkably well.
