Natural Bridge State Resort Park Whittleton campground has 40 single-family campsites in a forested area near the Red River Gorge. Campsites 1-3 and 24-37 have electric hookups. The park also has cabins and a lodge with 35 rooms available. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.

Whittleton Campground is located just 2.5 miles from Slade, KY (the gateway to Red River Gorge) on Natural Bridge Road (KY 11). The campground features 23 tent-only sites (with water) and 17 standard electric sites (with water) tucked in a small valley with a stream flowing through the center.
The Whittleton Branch Trail #216 begins at the Whittleton Campground and ends at Route 15. The trail takes a spur to the Whittleton Arch Trail that branches off from the Sheltowee Trace Trail. The trail is very scenic, with a beautiful creek running alongside it for most of the way.
