Here is a summary of what I found from the anime: DEFENSIVE POWER. Spellbinding Circle works on Slifer, weakening it by 700 ATK, but it expires at the end of the turn. In response to Brain Control, "I'm afraid all Magic cards are completely ineffectively against Egyptian God monsters".
You play either Exodia dedicated deck , or a deck dedicated to one of the gods. Exodia can function as FTK ( drawing all 5 pieces first turn) , Crooked Cook stall( stalling with Crooked Cook until you draw 5 pieces). Ra is probably the best of 3 gods , its got a lot of support making it easy to summon it. Deck is not that good , but it functions.

There are plenty of cards that approach near-God Card status, but in an effort to keep this article from doubling in length I'm going to stick to the original trio, their variants, and the cards directly inspired by their design.
