18 lip 2022 · What’s the normal range for hematocrit levels? Here are normal hematocrit levels by sex and age: Adults assigned male at birth (AMAB): 41% to 50%. Adult assigned female at birth (AFAB): 36% to 44%. Infants: 32% to 42%. Newborns: 45% to 61%. Talk to your healthcare provider if you take hormone therapy, as your lab results may look different.
D-Dimer results <243ng/mL are considered Negative for the diagnosis of VTE if patient is <50 years old. If patient is >50yrs use the age adjusted cut off = age x 10 ng/ml for interpretation. Always interpret all DDimer results together with the Wells Score (see NICE NG158).
