23 lis 2014 · Putting aside the DDR3-2400 CAS 11 result, we still see a clear pattern in minimum framerates. Faster RAM means better minimums. The DDR3-2400 CAS 10 kit was a full 9.7% faster than the DDR3-1600 kit, far exceeding our expectations drawn from the baseline set by 3DMark.

29 wrz 2020 · In actual performance or fps, the performance difference is in the low single digit percentage. Only using integrated graphics is speed important. 16gb is where I think you will see the benefit.
2 mar 2013 · It provides visual evidence for something I've been telling people for a while: that DDR3 speed has a beneficial effect on gameplay by increasing the minimum frame rate, resulting in a smoother game, and that the whole "anything above 1600 is a stupid worthless waste of money" argument is wrong.

I currently have 8gb (2x4gb) of DDR 3 1600GHz and I've been offered a good deal on a further 2, 4gb sticks but these ones are of a 1333GHz speed. From my rather limited PC knowledge, from what I've read online, you can install two different speeds of RAM in your machine but they'll all run at the speed of the lowest GHz stick.
