@ConstantinJinga seems unlikely to me. There's lots of text in between the supposedly parallel fragments. יהוה, though translated as "lord" is just a proper name. The climax only exists in the translation. There is also no external indication that פרץ might operate in this context, nor is it clear what it would mean. –
13 lip 2024 · The prophet disclosed in chapter 45 what the LORD would do for Cyrus, His “anointed” (“messiah”): He would make him a subduer of nations (v. 1), give him riches (v. 3), and bestow on him a title of honor (v. 4), even though Cyrus would not acknowledge Him (vv. 4, 5).
“Anoint.” The Anointing is a person Jesus is the Christ, The Anointed One. The Anointed is the Spirit of the Son which is upon his corporate body. He is the Head and we are His Body (the church).
The Cyrus anointing gives you the power to exercise Rulership over the nations. (Read Isa.45:1-7 in the Living Bible.) The whole issue of the Cyrus-anointing is to penetrate impenetrable territories.
This is the heart of Second Isaiah’s message of deliverance from bondage: God chooses Cyrus, a foreign ruler, to set God’s people free. The surprise of God’s choice is emphasized by the strong terms used by God to identify Cyrus: “shepherd” (44:28) and “anointed” (45:1).
