TexasBarCLE is a provider of CLE programs and, like other providers, is regulated by the MCLE department. The following are some commonly asked questions that must be directed to MCLE, not TexasBarCLE. (Contact information for MCLE appears below.)
Active members of the State Bar must complete a minimum of 15.00 hours (3.00 hours of which must be in ethics) of continuing legal education (CLE) every compliance year. At least 12.00 of the total 15.00 hours must be accredited CLE.
Every active member of the State Bar must complete a minimum of 15 hours of continuing legal education (CLE) during each MCLE compliance year. At least 12 of the total 15 CLE hours need to be completed through attendance at Accredited CLE activities.
Every active State Bar of Texas member must complete a minimum of 15 hours of accredited CLE during each MCLE compliance year. 12 of these hours must be in accredited CLE classes. 3 of these hours must be in legal ethics/legal professional responsibility.

MCLE compliance year (including the initial 24-month compliance year) in order to meet the minimum educational requirements set out in Article XII, Section 6A, State Bar Rules. A minimum of twelve (12) credit hours must be completed in the form of Accredited CLE Activities, defined by Section 2.1.1-2.1.2.
