27 lut 2024 · Recent research, such as BitNet, is paving the way for a new era of 1-bit Large Language Models (LLMs). In this work, we introduce a 1-bit LLM variant, namely BitNet b1.58, in which every single parameter (or weight) of the LLM is ternary {-1, 0, 1}.
arXiv. Publication. The increasing size of large language models has posed challenges for deployment and raised concerns about environmental impact due to high energy consumption. In this work, we introduce BitNet, a scalable and stable 1-bit Transformer architecture designed for large language models.
20 mar 2024 · We present details and tips for training 1-bit LLMs. We also provide additional experiments and results that were not reported and responses to questions regarding the "The-Era-of-1-bit-LLM" paper. Finally, we include the official PyTorch implementation of BitNet (b1.58 and b1) for future research and development of 1-bit LLMs.
