  4. 14 sie 2024 · Bipolar hip replacement is a type of partial hip replacement where the femoral head (the ball) is replaced with a prosthetic implant. Unlike total hip replacement, which replaces both the ball and the socket, bipolar hip replacement involves only the femoral head.
