Welcome! Located in the Kansas City Northland, w e are a group that enjoys quilting--either making our own quilts or just appreciating the quilts of others. We have a program each month consisting of area quilters bringing their quilts or a slide show of their quilts and telling us their quilting journey story!
Find your niche by joining in a few (or a lot!) of guild activities. Marji Dykman creates all sorts of projects for the guild members to participate in. 2022 was the Crayola challenge where members randomly selected a crayon from a bag and were challenged to make a quilt with that color. 2023 gave us the Magazine Challenge.
The KCMQG was established in January 2010 and has quickly grown into a guild with over 200 active, talented, and creative members. Our Mission is to support and encourage the growth and development of modern quilting through art, education, and community.
