I have my game time speed set to 30 and motive decays are set to 95. I don’t play on triple speed too much but I think a sim day still feels pretty reasonable, close to half an hour. It just gives a little more breathing room to play without pausing and with the need decay you get to do a few other activities in a sim day.

In addition to letting your sims drop out of school, this mod will let your teen sims start any adult career that you have in the game.

Do you prefer the vanilla school system, High School Years system, the Better School mod, or something completely different?
