Developed by Samsung, and with 20th Century and Warner Bros as partners to license HDR10+ to other manufacturers, it's a direct rival to Dolby Vision.
On my Galaxy phones and tablets that DO support HDR: When I just type "HDR" in the search field in YouTube, it spits out many movie trailers in HDR. I can play those in HDR just fine, from 144p HDR to 2160p (4K) HDR.
9 sty 2021 · On the HW-Q60T soundbar's product page, I read that hdr10+ video passthrough is possible, even giving a gaming console as an example. However, when connecting my ps4 to the soundbar over hdmi, hdr content is not passed to my tv. Colour are very faded. I can hook up my ps4 directly to my tv, then hdr is enable.
18 sty 2021 · Everything is working flawlessly. I get 4K 120hz passtrough together with Dolby Atmos. But HDR does not seem to work when using 120hz. As soon as I switch to 60hz, HDR starts working again. Am I doing something wrong or does the soundbar simply not allow HDR together with 120hz?
