HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and it's a way of allowing more colour information to be passed from the source to the display. The end result is a picture with more details in the blacks and less blow out in the whites (as well as more colour breadth in the mid range).

7 cze 2018 · so your best bet is to plug all your devices into the tv to ensure you get all the hdr formats like DV and hdr10+, and let ARC handle the sound to the soundbar. The soundbar will still recognise, play and display Atmos over ARC, even though it is lossy.
