4 sty 2022 · For some reason, the tribe of Dan is not listed; in its place is Manasseh, which is one of the two tribes that came from Joseph. The Bible does not tell us why the tribe of Dan is excluded from the list of the twelve tribes in Revelation 7.
19 kwi 2018 · The tribe of Dan migrated north to a better territory. The worshiped a “calf” after the kingdom split (1 Kings 12:25). But would Dan be omitted because of idolatry? All the tribes were, and any of the northern tribes would have been just as involved as Dan.
It becomes important therefore, to reconcile the Tribe of Dan, not mentioned in Rev. 7, yet mentioned in Ezekiel 48:32, and by inference, mentioned in Rev. 21:12. If we read Rom. 11:26 (KJV), " All Israel shall be saved ", we don't read, 'All Israel shall be saved EXCEPT THE TRIBE OF DAN'.
12 lut 2023 · The entire tribe of Dan is absent from the list of those tribes which are to be found in heaven. Here is the list given in Revelation 7. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
However while Ezekiel mentions the tribe of Dan in consistency with the Torah, the book of Revelation omits it entirely instead merging the half tribes of Mannaseh and Ephraim back into Joseph and surprisingly lists the tribe of Levi in the place of Dan. Please explain this difference.
The answer is not stated specifically in Scripture, but most likely it is because the tribe led the rebellion against the Davidic kingdom that resulted in the division into the northern and southern kingdoms. The second reason was that the tribe immediately led in the establishment of false worship and abandoning the worship of Yahweh.
8 lis 2013 · In Revelation 7, the sealing of the 144,000 is described, representing 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. However, when the list of tribes is given, the tribe of Dan is notably absent. This omission has led to much speculation and interpretation among biblical scholars.
