According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Kramer went back to college and studied aerospace engineering, eventually completing the degree with high marks.

After Iron Butterfly broke up in 1971, Ingle toured occasionally with his former band members, but was not involved with either of Iron Butterfly's later two albums, Scorching Beauty and Sun and Steel, both from 1975.

Ingle was the lead vocalist and organist in the band he co-founded in 1966 - singing their 17-minute long signature hit In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, which featured in a 1995 episode of The Simpsons.
