Regular signatures retailed for $25 USD originally, and I'm unsure of the retail price for small signatures but it was likely $15-$20 USD. Most non-dog/wolf/fox signatures are still sold around or less than their retail cost. Of course there are a few exceptions.

It's like a serial number that identifies what pet it is. So a Beagle is HM141 and a signature artic hare is WKS1036. They're written on the tush tags so you know what you have or what you're buying. Sometimes webkinz can be hard to identify.
