The more obvious and common scam to look out for is the "tourney fill-in invitation" scam. Delete any, I mean any steam friend you have, if they invite you to fill in a pos because "something happened and our player cant show up" or shit like that.
Basically, a "friend" messaged me, telling me to vote for his csgo team, then sent me a link. Except, the link was not a https link(just http) and that it was something like we-play.tv instead of the authentic weplay.tv . Knowing it was a scam, I called him out for it and he immediately blocked me.
The real WePlay website (https://weplay.tv) is not written in PHP. The sign in page is where you can definitively tell it's a scam because you can't create an account via email.

19 mar 2024 · Three guys, very friendly and one of the allegedly a streamer. They tried to smooth talk us into a game against another streamer and wanted us to "verify" over a link on this pretty legit seeming serverbot. Me and my mate knew instantaniously that this had to be a scam and left. They immediately blocked us etc. etc.
