At this time, you can use your DS Logon or My HealtheVet account to sign in to manage your VA benefits and health care online. But to manage certain tasks and information on VA.gov, you’ll need to create a Login.gov or ID.me account and verify your identity.

After January 31, 2025, we'll remove the My HealtheVet user ID and password sign-in option. We'll also require multifactor authentication (MFA) as an added layer of protection for your account.
10 wrz 2024 · Follow these steps to create your Login.gov account. With an identity-verified Login.gov account, you can manage your VA health care and benefits online through VA websites and apps—including VA.gov, My HealtheVet, and the VA: Health and Benefits mobile app.
To create a new account, go to our VA.gov sign-in page. Then select Create an account with Login.gov or Create an account with ID.me.
