23 wrz 2011 · Authentication of the user is done by verifying that the public key in the certificate matches one of the public keys publised on the WebID profile page. BrowserId will save the key in the browser/OS keychain once that part is integrated in the browser.
On the next generation web, your users login with their WebID. Your platform allows them to login with the method of their choice. When logged in, you can access the data that they've given access to.
