17 lip 2024 · The New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) was established in 1960, beginning its work in 1961. NYSCA was the first state government agency to provide arts subsidies. Annually, NYSCA provides grants to more than 1,600 nonprofit organizations across the state.
