A lot of the highly reviewed ones are really "whole home leak detectors" which look amazing, but won't work as I cannot install them. Any suggestions? Edit: I need a leak detector that does not install on the water supply and battery powered (there is no accessible plug under the sinks or W&D).
I have the Fibaro water sensor. It emits a loud alert and notifies HomeKit almost immediately when it comes in contact with water.
The Honeywell is excellent since it will send you an email, trigger Honeywell Home notification and HomeKit notification so there is zero chance to miss it. It also has a loud alarm and is battery powered, since it’s a bit old tech it works via Wi-Fi but the range is good.
