(1) A lawyer may charge a retainer, which is a fee that a client pays to a lawyer to be available to the client during a specified period or on a specified matter, in addition to and apart from any compensation for legal services performed.
As set forth in the table below, you may pay your 2025 license fee in up to five monthly installments. To take full advantage of the plan, sign up and pay the first installment in October 2024. All payments are due by the first day of the month and the balance must be paid in full by Feb. 3, 2025.
