7 cze 2024 · The Football Association of Wales (FAW) confirmed on Friday (June 7) the 44 teams competing in the 2024/25 Ardal Leagues. Promotion and relegations have been confirmed for teams coming down from the Cymru North and Cymru South and the feeder leagues.

Since 2019–20, the Football Association of Wales runs the second tier for the first time after a review of the Welsh league pyramid. Tier 2 is split into a north and central Wales league, Cymru North , and a corresponding league for south Wales, Cymru South .
The Football Association of Wales (FAW), was established in 1876 to oversee the Wales national team and govern the sport in Wales, later creating and running the Welsh football league system.
