We'll combine these four ingredients to produce simple but effective antenna systems.....the EASY WAY. FIRST, ANTENNAS OF NON-RESONANT LENGTH: Quit worrying about them. Some 4000 commercial radio broadcast stations (and a few hams) use antennas with non-resonant dimensions. The broadcast station must operate
suitable tuner to use RTS. The antenna can be also tuned with coax feed using suitable tuner. While this is a bit less efficient than using Ladder Line, it still works quite well. Good hunting!
The W9INN Hideaway dipole, Fig. 2, is a similar design. It operates on 10, 15, 20, 40 and 80M and is only 50 feet in length, and is an ideal antenna for a small lot, attic mount or for portable application. A set of four re- sonactors are used in each dipole segment. Antennas can be hung as dipoles, inverted V's and slopers.
