7 lut 2023 · I have acquired the trailer of my dreams, It is a 36ft 1954 Redman New Moon Travel Trailer, it is the same exact model that is featured in the Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz flim "The Long Long Trailer" It has been a dream of mine to own and live in this exact trailer ever since I first saw the movie when I was a small child.

The trailer used in the film is the 1953 36-foot Redman “New Moon” model, which sold for $5,345 at the time. The new car used to tow the trailer is a 1953 Mercury Monterey convertible with a 125 HP flathead V8 engine.
From 1944 to 1953, Redman Trailer Company (Alma, Michigan) developed New Moon, a significantly longer line of trailers than others in the industry. In 1947, this trailer was “the world’s largest trailer”.
This Offcial New Moon trailer was origianlly aired on September 13, 2009 at the VMA's. I can't wait for November 20th!!!!!
