27 paź 2009 · The trans filter service and trans fluid change are two different services. One of which involves dropping the pan and changing the filter, then refilling the fluid that will be about half empty (while the other half is still in the torque converter).

8 mar 2020 · My 2006 4x4 V6 has hit 197k miles and I was thinking of doing a drain and fill for the automatic transmission, as i've heard that flushing it at this high of mileage can do some damage. I haven't had any issues yet with the transmission, but the fluid is very dirty and likely hasn't been changed.
