Done a bunch of research with my wife, and we're looking into some video baby monitors and we've landed on having a video monitor with a dedicated monitor AND a WiFi-accessible phone accessible app for ease of use, just in case.
My dad's Iphone 12 display works, the device turns on but it is not responsive to touch. This issue started a few weeks ago and the hard reset method (volume up, volume down, hold power button) used to work. A couple days ago but the issue returned and hard resetting does not work anymore.
iPhone 12 Touchscreen Unresponsive. I was at the gym today and my iPhone got caught in a piece of equipment. Fortunately only the screen protector shattered. There's no visible damage to the phone, but now I can't get the touchscreen to work.
A few times a day, the screen completely stops responding to touch. I can't wake it up by tapping, and when I lift the phone to wake it up, I can't unlock it as it won't recognize any swipes or taps whatsoever.
26 kwi 2022 · You need to update your iPhone 12 that is not responding to touch, and the way is to put the iPhone 12 into recovery mode and then reinstall the iOS to the latest version. Provided the problem persists after that, you're probably attempting to perform a DFU restore.
I think for me, I am looking for a monitor that has video and sound, possibly with motion tracking? Do I need one that gives an alert when there's noise in the baby room, in case I don't wake up to the baby's noises at night?
My first baby is due to May 21 and I need to get a baby monitor with video and don't want one with connection to mobile, just because I heard a lot of people complaining about their devices getting hacked.
