Spells. Spell acquisition in Veil of Alaris can be a little confusing. All ranks are dependant on your Alaran Language skill to determine what you can or can not get. Rank 1. Rank 1 spells are sold in Argath by various merchants on the top floor.

For the group side progression is gated by Skill with Alaran language, it controls what spells you can buy, what armor you can make, what quests you can request, and what AA you can purchase. For the raid side keying is done by evolving Records with raid wins.
