The Video VBOX LITE combines a powerful GPS data logger with a high quality solid-state video recorder, which takes multiple cameras and combines them with a graphical overlay, with the resulting video streamed onto an SD card as a DVD quality MPEG4 file.
VBOX Video HD2 Setup software allows you to configure the HD2 unit, as well as the graphical overlay. For example, you can create custom dials, include your logo and set the second camera location. RACELOGIC offer out-of-the-box graphical overlay templates (scenes) to use with your VBOX Video HD2.
The configuration is indicated on a label on the rear of the OLED display. To connect to a Video VBOX Lite, you should connect the cable into the ‘AUX’ port. To connect to a Video VOX Pro, you should connect the cable into the ‘SER’ port. Note: For older 2CAM Video VBOX units – use the ‘DATA’ port.
VBOX Video HD2 is a dual camera, 1080p, 30 or 60 fps video system including GPS data-logging and a live graphical overlay. The HD2 is compatible with OLED systems and Racelogic modules such as the Micro Input Module and Mini Input Module.
Every VBOX HD logger contains a small internal battery to prevent loss of video or data should the power supply be interrupted or lost. This battery is continually recharged during normal operation.
