There is a long running discussion for the Vacations to Go on the cruise forum that would be worth reading. http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1-i10703-k831263-o70-Is_Vacationstogo_com_reliable-Cruises.html
Answer 1 of 5: Has anybody booked a cruise through Vacations To Go? Thinking about taking a cruise to Alaska in September and their prices look good, but I am wondering if they are reputable and have good customer service if something should go wrong.
Do you just take these peoples word for it, or were you able to check the properties out online before booking it and read reviews on other websites - TripAdvisor reviews, Google reviews, or reviews on other websites such as Expedia, booking, com etc?
I have booked with them twice and found all went well. If you are going to book through them, you need to be aware, that you have to find out if you need Visas for any of the countries you are travelling and organise yourself. Also ensure you have E Ticket in your hand.
We have used Vacations to Go for several years to book cruises with good results. While we now have an on-going relationship with an agent every contact has been professional and knowledgeable. They are stove-piped by service (a different desk for air) which can complicate planning.
