30 maj 2024 · (Oct. 24, 2017) -- The Spirit of San Antonio UTSA Roadrunner Marching Band is a UTSA tradition at football games. Now in its seventh season, the band is larger than ever, with more than 300 members. Student leaders say the group’s goal was to get more students involved in the band than ever before.
SOSA Marching Band a 330-member marching band and the largest ensemble at UTSA. Voted the #1 marching band by YourSA Reader’s Choice Awards, they proudly represent the university at UTSA athletic events, pep rallies, Fiesta parades, and many other events.
JULY 2, 2020 — Sharp orange and blue uniforms, rousing musical arrangements, fun choreography, and a fight song and alma mater that spark true spirit in the stadium—the UTSA marching band is the soundtrack to the student experience—and so much more.
There may also be members designated as “swings” to enable us to cover spots left by illnesses or emergencies. We anticipate achieving a membership comparable to other universities of our size (32,000 students). This past season, we had 320 members. It is a very exciting time at UTSA!
