The USJA's National Promotion System is designed to ensure that ranks awarded reflect the technical expertise, character development, and overall contribution of the individual. This process requires the direct evaluation of all candidates. Candidates must meet certain minimum requirements to become eligible for promotion.
Coaches must be current USA Judo Certified Coaches to receive coaching credentials at all USA Judo sanctioned events, including local, regional and national tournaments. Learn more about credentials and the dress code for national events. View.
The USJF National Coach Certification Course is presented in four modules; Module 1; Developing a Coaching Philisophy – A coaching philosophy should not be solely geared towards molding a judo tactician and technician, but more profoundly, crafting a “Champion of Character.”
Certified Rank Examiners (CRE) of all levels will be expected to obtain a copy of the new Guide and familiarize themselves with every aspect. Each Certified Rank Examiner will then asked to update their certification with the purchase the manual.
The following shows a list of CRE who have upgraded their CRE status or have become new CRE. They can examine, test and verify someone’s ability to meet the requirements for promotion. All RFP and the requirements shown in the Judo Rank Promotion System are strictly evaluated for compliance.
