Method 1: The issue could occur if the pinned items get corrupted. You may delete the already pinned items and re-pin an item to the taskbar and check if that fixes the issue. 17 sie 2012 · How to fix broken taskbar icons in Windows 7 (14 answers) Closed 9 years ago. I installed Visual Studio 2012 yesterday and during the install my path somehow got screwed up 1. Since then, the icons for applications that are part of Windows are the default "unknown" icon, but other icons are fine.
A weird occurrence started happening a few days ago on my PC running Win7, namely all the programs that I have pinned to my taskbar are now nowhere to be found when you turn the PC on - the left side of the taskbar is completely empty, with the start menu orb only.
22 cze 2018 · If I look at %AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar I can see all the programs I have pinned. However, none of them show up in my taskbar unless they are actually running.
