MyPlate is the updated version of the Food Guide Pyramid, a visual reminder to choose a variety of foods from each of the food groups. It offers personalized tools and resources to help you meet your goals, enjoy your favorite recipes, and save money on healthy eating.
USDA provides dietary guidance and nutritional recommendations based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPlate. MyPlate illustrates the five food groups and helps consumers make healthy choices at every life stage.
The MyPlate Plan* shows your food group targets – what and how much to eat within your calorie allowance. Your food plan is personalized, based on your: Age. Sex. Height. Weight. Physical activity level. To get started, click on the "Start" button.
