Licensing across the US for social workers requires a BSW or MSW from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited Program. A Social Work degree from UMKC meets this requirement; therefore, a social work degree obtained from UMKC will meet the initial licensing requirements for all 50 states.
How to apply. An undergraduate degree in social work is not required for entry into the MSW program. However, only students who hold a bachelor’s degree in social work can apply for the advanced standing program. Application deadlines. Traditional MSW — March 1 Advanced standing MSW — February 1
