Usb 2.0 has a latency of about 125 microseconds. Unlike 2.0, usb 3.0 is not a shared-bus system. Instead it uses a point-to-point link between the host and each device which can help decrease the latency by a significant amount (in terms of multiples, still not noticeable at all).

USB 3.0 feels smoother, kinda higher on input lag while 2.0 is a lot more snappy. I just tested it on a completely different PC with a different mouse (Rival 110). It's the same again. Everyone on the Internet say that there should be no difference, but there sure as hell is a difference.

USB 2.0 Full-speed uses 1ms interval. >99% of USB mice use USB 2.0 Full-speed connection. USB 2.0 High-speed uses 0.125ms interval, which is the same as USB 3.x. I know less than 10 mice that utilize USB 2.0 High-speed connection and 0 mice that use USB 3.x.
