The following is the Lake Erie Fishing Report filed by the ODNR-Division of Wildlife on 10/4/2024. The daily limit for walleye in Ohio waters of Lake Erie is 6 fish per angler. The minimum size limit for walleye is 15 inches. The daily limit for yellow perch is 30 in the West and East Zones of Ohio waters of Lake Erie.
The upper West is fishing ok, but there is more vegetation in the water from the reservoir release than the other sections of river. We are still seeing a few #12 Isonychia, #14-16 Stenos, #16-18 Hebes, especially on the main Delaware.
