The North Texas Green Brigade Marching Band, under the direction of Amy Woody, enjoys a reputation for high-quality musical and visual performances and is the largest spirit organization at the University of North Texas.
Calendar. Click here for information on summer band camp! DCI Participants! Please note that this year, Finals overlaps with summer band camp. Every year the Green Brigade has 80-100 people that march DCI in it, and this happens every few years.
Pre-season camp officially begins in the afternoon of August 9 (Percussion and colorguard on August 8). We will welcome all our potential members to Winspear Hall (located at the Murchison Performing Arts Center) at 3pm, followed by a full ensemble rehearsal/auditions in the evening.

The UNT Marching Percussion Camp trains high school percussionists each summer in the tradition of the world-renowned North Texas Drum Line. Students will participate in sectionals and ensembles focusing on establishing strong drumming fundamentals and expressive musical concepts.
