22 paź 2024 · Be prepared to get wet you will spend time walking through the caves, seeing bats and crawling and exploring different areas of the beautiful cavern. Be sure to bring water shoes or you can get some there, but you will need socks and make sure that you are comfortable with crawling.

We've been to caves all around the U.S., but this immersive and interactive experience is unlike any others we've done. Climbing and traipsing through the water, being taken into "hidden passageways", only the light of a headlamp.... just incredible fun. It's a nice change of pace too from the standard rainforest walks/ hikes in the area.

After squeezing through some tight crevasses and following the winding limestone maze, we wound up standing under Costa Rica’s only known accessible underground waterfall. We stood under the cold splash as Carlos snapped several pictures and wondered where this otherworldly river originated.
