That's weird, maybe try to rejoin or it's the map itself that does not give the XP. Try another map. If not, try playing normal Fortnite modes such as Battle Royale and see if you can get normal XP instead of creative XP.
The lowest possible settings you could get with fortnite to ensure you have the best performance while gaming. Decent for low end Laptops/PCS. Each season, max XP and XP rates are modified slightly (or sometimes a lot). Last season Regular Creative was giving me 402k on the dot, and now it's 401.2k. Seasons before that it was fluctuating heavily. For Regular Creative, a map has to have an "XP" flair on it for it to give you XP.
