So I have spent loads of time reading articles on 3d printers and I have narrowed my search down to a couple potential units. I am deciding between Makerbot method x cf and ultimaker s5, maybe the creator 3. Does anyone have any negative or positive experiences with them?
16 paź 2015 · Looking at some reviews, it came down to either the Makerbot Replicator or the Ultimaker 2. The former seems to be very user friendly, the latter prints twice as high while both cost the same. Which 3d printers do you guys use/ recommend?
If you want to buy a pre-assembled 3D printer I really, really recommend an ultimaker 2 over any makerbot, especially a fifth gen. They are cheaper, faster, better designed and better supported. In my opinion makerbot are no longer concerned with printer or print quality.
25 sie 2015 · What you have to know about "consumer grade" 3D printers, is that there is no such thing as a completely "trouble free" 3D printer in this market. I'd recommend (any) Ultimaker 3D printer because they are pretty well built, and they offer very good printing quality and speed.
