Pan - Use the arrow control in the upper right or "drag" the map using the mouse. Zoom - Use the zoom control in the upper right or the mouse scroll wheel. Center - Double-click a map location to center it on that location.

UESP Skyrim roadmap — A simplified guide to Skyrim's many paths and tracks, as a flat image. Select locations are marked. These are the icons used on the in-game map. On the compass and map, white locations are places you have previously visited (and therefore may fast travel to), and those in black are undiscovered.
Finally, a massive thanks to Dave & the UESP for allowing us to use their map tiles (and for being an invaluable reference for everything and anything Skyrim related!). The Skyrim Creation Kit is insanely buggy so it was a massive PITA trying to generate the base map layer ourselves!
