12 kwi 2011 · UChicago appears to be one of the few universities with such a hookup site. In my experience, hookups often happen at parties, bars, or other social situations where the two parties may have been drinking or know little of each other.
It sounds like hooking up is not for you. Try setting a rule for yourself about when in a new relationship to begin sexual activity. I was never interested in hookups and never had sex until the third or later date. I know some of the women I dated had a similar set of rules themselves. At least when I was in school, this wasn’t that unusual.

Is the dating and hookup culture still as bad as the stereotypes? I know there’s been a pretty big effort over the past five years or so to make the university less of a”where fun goes to die”.
