Texas-Tulips is a pick-your-own tulip field located in Pilot Point. Tulip picking season begins mid to end February and ends in late March or early April depending on the weather. There are roughly 100 types of tulips to choose from, and the availability varies throughout the season.
We've been to the Texas Tulips in San Antonio and now the one in Pilot Point. This one in Pilot Point is much bigger. While there was a big line at opening, and lots of cars, the traffic and crowds were well managed.
Texas Tulips stands out as one of the region's largest and most picturesque U-Pick Tulip Farms. From late February to early April, the farm welcomes visitors daily from 8 AM to 5 PM, presenting an impressive selection of over 100 tulip varieties.
The optimal time to visit Texas Tulips in Pilot Point each year is usually mid-March. On a daily basis, weekdays are when you’ll find fewer crowds; weekends are the busiest times. On an hourly basis, visiting earlier in the day is usually better if you want to avoid crowds.
